SiSense, a business data analytics technology firm with offices in Redwood City, has raised a $10 million Series B round of funding led by Battery Ventures, with participation from Opus Capital and Genesis Partners.

SiSense says its Prism technology, which can be deployed on site or in the cloud, can analyze more data at a lower cost than competitors, and it is packaged with a complete business intelligence solution designed for non-technical business users. The 40 person Israeli company was founded in 2004 but spent years developing its technology and working with a limited number of customers, only publicly launching last year.
